We are happy to announce that after a few changes and wonderful additions to the Diane Da Costa’s American Beauty Tour, we are launching in March 2008. It’s time to come out and truly see what TEXTURE is all about. This one-of-a-kind event will feature my techniques and Top Stylists executing makeovers on contestant winners to completely transform the “everyday women” into Textured Divas right before your eyes. As if that was not enough, audience members will have the privilege to interact with our esteemed Beauty Editor Panelists, discovering all the beauty insider secrets needed to revamp or optimize their own look. And for the product junkies, we have a little something for you too. Everyone will receive a goodie bag filled with the fiercest arsenal to totally transform your look at home, including luxury hair products, makeup, and an autograph copy of my book, TEXTURED TRESSES.

This beauty experience is meant to enhance all women’s lives from the inside out. Diane Da Costa’s American Beauty Tour has partnered with DIVABETICS, to enrich the lives of women with Diabetes giving them the opportunity to participate on the tour while experiencing total inner and outer beauty transformations. In addition, I will host a Charity Benefit Silent Auction and Cocktail Party held in NYC, March 10, 2008. All are welcome! Proceeds will be donated to the American Diabetes Association. Greetings Beauties -

Welcome to the new and improved Official Diane Da Costa's Beauty, Fashion & Lifestyle Blog. I started this blog back in 2004, right after my book TEXTURED TRESSES was released. Since then, Ive been meeting lots of folks, signing books, conducting seminars all over the United States and Caribbean and working with celebrities and private clients. Recently, you might have seen my articles on AOL Black Voices HAIR APPARENT.

And starting January 2008, I begin writing a Beauty Column for Behindthechair.com.

We've also been very busy planning and producing the most fabulous makeover , tour (here's just a sneak peak, for all to participate. The Diane Da Costa's American Beauty Tour 2008 is coming to five cities: Atlanta, Austin, Chicago, Indianapolis and New York City in February through May 2008.

A one of-a- kind total makeover awaits 40 contestant winners held on three beauty and lifestyle e-magazines, since December 2006. American Beauties will be transformed by MOI, Diane Da Costa, and my creative team with hair, makeup and wardrobe revamp! There's lots of fun in store for the audience too! You' ll receive live Q & A's with celebrity stylist, beauty editors and product company executives. Take home gift bags full of beauty and haircare products, an autographed Textured Tresses book, music, discounts for future purchases and a Meet & Greet, immediately following the event!

We've also partnered with the American Diabetes Association and DIVABETICS to help spread awareness of this major global epidemic. Several women living with diabetes will receive a fabulous makeover in two to three cities- all with the assistance of DIVABETICS. And a benefit fundraiser held in New York City in February 2008 that will benefit the ADA.
